What is coaching/mentoring? Is it therapy?
Coaching is not therapy, it’s almost the opposite. Coaching is about looking forward, building on what is “right” and your personal strengths, not looking at what is wrong. When I coach clients, I focus on empowering people to “sort their lives out,” as they refer to it! I am here to help clients become the best version of themselves.
How do I know mentoring is for me?
With my background as a sports coach, I understand the value of an experienced and professional mentor, whether you are training for the Olympics, or preparing to launch your own business or a new chapter of your life following a redundancy, divorce or global pandemic! During a period of challenge or change, it should feel natural and normal to seek out the guidance and expertise of a trusted coach. Achievement can only happen with support and accountability.
Do you have any formal training?
I want to be clear that I am not a psychologist, psychotherapist or psychiatrist. Coaching is a different process, and I have invested tens of thousands of pounds to train with the most talented and pioneering coaches on the planet, including Tony Robbins, Chloe Madanes, and Mark and Magali Peysha of The Coaching Institute. My lifelong spiritual practice, and my past expertise as a riding coach, also forms the foundations of my coaching practice.
How do you work with clients?
We schedule a free clarity call, essentially a consultation to discuss your individual needs and hopes. Together we develop a bespoke package that fits in with your lifestyle, typically working with weekly 50-minute sessions for at least the first month.
What makes you good at what you do?
My background as a professional sportsperson and entrepreneur has made me a straight-talking and results-driven coach. If you’ve worked with coaches, therapists or healers before and found yourself frustrated with the amount of jargon and therapy speak, and lack of results, I would hope that I’d be a good fit for you.
How much does it cost?
A single 50-minute coaching session is £60, but most clients choose one of our value-packed coaching packages. Click here to learn more.
Is it confidential?
100%! What happens in our sessions stays in our sessions.
What is Conscious Yoga Fusion, and how does it differ from traditional yoga?
Conscious Yoga Fusion is a unique blend of Hatha, Yin, and QiYoga practices. Unlike traditional yoga, which may focus on just one style, this fusion integrates the strength and alignment of Hatha, the deep stretching and relaxation of Yin, and the energy flow techniques of QiYoga. This combination provides a balanced practice that addresses flexibility, strength, and energy flow.
What are the benefits of combining Hatha, Yin, and QiYoga in one practice?
The fusion of these three styles offers a holistic approach to wellness. Hatha Yoga builds strength and stability, Yin Yoga enhances flexibility and releases deep-seated tension, and QiYoga promotes the free flow of vital energy (Qi) throughout the body. Together, they create a well-rounded practice that improves physical, emotional, and energetic wellbeing.
How does breathwork integrate into the Conscious Yoga Fusion practice?
Breathwork is an essential component of Conscious Yoga Fusion, enhancing the connection between mind and body. Through conscious breathing techniques, you can deepen your practice, calm the nervous system, and facilitate the flow of energy (Qi) throughout the body, leading to greater relaxation and focus.
Is Conscious Yoga Fusion suitable for beginners?
Yes, Conscious Yoga Fusion is designed to be accessible for all levels, including beginners. The practice is gentle yet effective, with modifications provided to suit individual needs and abilities. Whether you’re new to yoga or an experienced practitioner, you can benefit from this integrative approach.
What should I expect during a Conscious Yoga Fusion session?
During a session, you can expect a mix of gentle, flowing movements from Hatha and QiYoga, combined with deep, restorative stretches from Yin Yoga. Breathwork and mindfulness are woven throughout the practice to help you stay present and connected. The session aims to leave you feeling balanced, relaxed, and energetically renewed.
